Video wall allows flexible multi-purpose room to be used for movie screenings, video presentations and more
The Annenberg School for Communication of the University of Pennsylvania needed a partner to help update their main conference room with all the latest technology. The space needed to be flexible enough to work in many different situations, from panel presentations to video conferencing calls and movie screenings.
The Annenberg School partnered with Cenero to create an intuitive solution that would work in many situations. A large 60 MicroTile cube video wall was designed for the front of the room, with a video processor to manage the multi-purpose screens. The cubes can be joined in any combination for presentations or for movie screenings and TV shows. Custom layouts can also be created so the room can be repurposed for events, conferences or Q&A sessions.
24 microphone inputs in the floor allow for the ability to provide microphones to everyone in the room if necessary for recording. A separate control room was also set up to allow sessions to be recorded and streamed in a more professional way than setting up a recording cart in the room. The room includes a wireless presentation system so that during panel discussions panelists can present from the presenters table directly from their tablet or laptop.
The Annenberg School also takes advantage of Cenero’s Constant Connect offering, a managed service that remotely monitors all technology in the room to make sure everything is running flawlessly at all times. Constant Connect also provides immediate support via a 24-hour help desk.
