Design Criteria

Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services worldwide to a diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high net worth individuals. To improve collaboration and communication both internally and with external clients, Goldman Sachs insisted on a videoconferencing and audio visual solution that integrated with their overall room aesthetics, allowed instant multimedia collaboration between offices, and was easy to use for both internal and external personnel.

Solutions

This unique solution includes both a front projection formatted screen and a dual plasma videoconferencing system. Separate speech and stereo systems segregate then audio for a cleaner representation of each medium. Presenters access the system via a wireless touch panel interface which was designed in conjunction with Goldman Sachs personnel to allow for any user to become instantly comfortable with the system. The control system allows for control over DVD/VCR transport functions, device input selections, lighting control, system volume, among others. Both projection and plasma screens can display one of the following sources: Videoconferencing, DVD, VCR, CATV, and up to 2 ea. Computer Images.
